Career –Media personality Willis Raburu has resigned from Tv 47 just nine months after landing an appointment.
Raburu, today Tuesday April 30, sent heartfelt gratitude to his media family across saying it is through their support that he has been able to deliver his calling all this long.
“As I bid farewell to the TV47 family, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the remarkable growth we’ve achieved together over the past few months,” – partly read his farewell message.
The renowned Tv host leaves Cape Media which owns TV & Radio 47 months after appointment, as Director of Digital Services and Innovation.
Also in a farewell message, Raburu wished his now former colleagues well assuring them of any support if they need him.
Before joining Cape Media, he worked for years at Citizen Tv where he ran a youthful entertainment show dubbed 10-over-10.
He also had a stint at City Hall as the chair of the Nairobi Festival Committee.
