Scoop -Priscilla Chan is wife to Facebook tech wiz and founder Mark Zuckerberg. She is way above his husband’s academic credentials.
According to Business Insider, Chan graduated from Harvard in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then went to UCSF School of Medicine where she managed to obtain Pediatrics Degree before founding her own school in 2016.
She is a humble woman who has never even at a single point bragged about her tech savvy husband and also doesn’t like moving close to his business.
“We are all more capable than we could ever imagine or admit to,” Chan said in an interview with Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg in 2017 (via Vox) of her goals. “We need to make sure that we are using that power now, and not waiting for a different time or when we’re more ready. We’re ready now. We need to do.”
Currently she is also running the largest philanthropic investment company in the world. With her wealthy husband they founded Chan Zuckerberg Initiative CZI in 2015.
We learnt that she handles the day to day operations at CZI(Chan Zuckerberg Initiative) where she oversees an annual budget of $700 to 800 million. This is according to the Outlet.
