The High Court of Nairobi is expected to rule on whether or not Mr. Ferdinand Ndung’u Waititu and his wife Susan Wangari Ndung’u will forfeit to the State their assets worth Ksh 2 billion.
The ethics agency EACC believes this wealth weas acquired through theft of public funds when Mr. Waititu served as the Governor of Kiambu County from 2017.
The suspects were unable to explain to EACC how they acquired the assets, prompting the Commission to file the forfeiture suit. Judgement to be delivered by Justice Prof (Dr) Nixon Sifuna.
