Winners –Eli Kipruto Rotich, a student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology JKUST, has won a sh 200 million Betika mega jackpot.
The 22-year-old boy said that he only placed a bet with sh 49 and ended up predicting all the 17 matches correctly, hence winning the cash.
Initially, Betika had a mega jackpot of sh 100 million only to change it upwards to sh 200 million this 2022/23 season.
The Nakuru-born man expressed his joy after landing the luck that he was not quite sure whether he could win or not.
“I usually spend less than sh100 every weekend and I didn’t think much about this Mega Jackpot combination because I have registered just one bonus win over the years.
“I’ve never lost hope because I bet for entertainment. This money is going to change my life and my entire family. I think this is what they call “Generational Wealth,” he stated.
Rotich, an undergraduate, seized the opportunity to thank Betika team for fulfilling the cash-out which is already in his bank account.
“I haven’t figured out what to do with the money yet. It hasn’t sunk in yet that I no longer have money problems, just how to spend it,” he added during his interview with media outlets.
Speaking about the ongoing World Cup competition, the varsity boy was a fan of Spain which was, sadly, knocked out by Morocco in the Round of 16.
He revealed that he has been betting now three years by using atleast sh 100 every weekend.
Just like the 2017 sh 221,301,602 Sportpesa jackpot winner Samuel Abisai, Kipruto has now joined the millionaire club from just betting.
Abisai(then 28 years old)said he only used sh 200 to bet and win the life-changing millions.
