Tech –Giant social media platform Twitter has alerted its users about the introduction of the long-awaited extra button.
Today Thursday Sept 1, the company announced that it is already testing the edit button to see how well it works and said to clients not to overthink about the move.
For instance, Twitter Blue is available in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. On Thursday, September 1, through its handle, the social media company underlined that it was still testing the new feature with the test limited to only one country.
“If you see an edited Tweet it’s because we’re testing the edit button this is happening and you’ll be okay,” it updated its handle.
This feature will allow users to edit posts not longer than 30-minutes after publishing but still see the original version of the tweet.
Twitter has been avoiding the editing button for many years because this messaging App is instant and any attempt to change a tweet could mislead those who had commented or retweeted it.
