Saturday, July 1, 2023 –Twitter owner Elon Musk has added two more pay features on the social sharing platform.
In the new development of Saturday July , Musk has announced introduction of tweet limit where every level user has tweet reading limit.
Forexample, if you are a new member on the platform and not verified, you will have a tweet limit of 300 per day as those who are still unverified-blue read only 600 tweets every day.
Moreover, Musk noted that if one is fully verified on Twitter, he or she can only read upto 6000 tweets per day.
“To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation, we’ve applied the following temporary limits: – Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day – Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day – New unverified accounts to 300/day,” he updated today evening after users started complaining of inactive accounts.
Additionally, the billionaire tech investor has introduced content subscribe button where, if one subscribes to another at a fee, a lot more content can be made accessible through the platform to the specified subscriber.
All these changes, according to the social sharing platform, are meant to help the company raise more revenue from various avenues.
This is coming just months after Mr. Musk bought Twitter and immediately started charging about $7 for the blue checkmack.
