Success -Job Nalianya who completed his secondary School in 2012 is today an accomplished electrical engineering graduate working in the USA.
He schooled at Kamusinga High School which wasn’t a national school by the time he was there.
On completion of his Degree studies at the Stanford University in the US, Nalianya started his Graduate Degree studies in Master’s and managed to score high what enabled him secure a well-paying job in the States. He is today a respected integrated circuit designer working in Texas.
“What we do is build chips that go into everyday use electronic devices such as laptops, ipads and phones. I work as an IC (Integrated Circuits) designer so I design the circuits that go into the chip that are used in these electronic devices,” he stated.
Looking at his short and very quick background, Nalianya – former Kamusinga High student – was happy to emerge top with an ‘A’ nationally in the 2011 Kenya Certificates of Secondary Education KCSE.
He however shocked everyone when he was interviewed and said his only ambition is to become a Catholic Priest. His desire to become a preacher were rooted in the fact that he scored 423 Marks out 500 in Primary KCPE Exams but only recived a calling letter from Kamusinga High which by then wasn’t a national school.
Having been heartbroken by the school he had been offered to join – in this case Kamusinga – Nalianya wanted to give up in life. Counseling came in and it pumped some more hope of life into the young bright man.
He would end up working hard and smart while doing his secondary course what made him to emerge the best not only in his school but across the country. Nalianya then joined US based Stanford University to pursue undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering before moving to Texas where he now works as a circuit designer.
