Telco Services –Millions of Kenyans who use Telkom Kenya services, have tried to pour their anger on social media following unexplained blackout now entering the third week.
When they attempt to inquire, about this, they get a cold response from the company with customer care service desk ignoring some calls or deciding to lie to their customers about how the issue is being corrected.
For instance, renowned Editor-cum-blogger Chris Akali, on June 18, ranted online about the issue but in some of the sampled responses, Telkom only said, “be patient the problem is being worked on.
“You have fake services. No calls, no internet full two weeks and yet customers bought airtime/data. Are you going to compensate?” Blogger Akali tweeted.
All parts of the country have since been in a communication blackout that started without any alert or notice from the giant telco.
“I pay 1000 every month for bundles which don’t work. Customer care is pathetic. You are THIEVES na mkae na hizo pesa zimebaki, you have ruined my job, maumbwa nyinyi,” Saf Sura also complained on June 18.
The Telco company would respond saying, the issue was still being worked on and that they will be in touch once resolved.
Users who have subscribed to Telkom Kenya calls, SMS and internet services have for weeks been left in the cold with little explanation from the government parastatal.
Telkom has various subscription levels where those who are interested always pick what service range they want from the government telco.
