Empowerment –Government has announced new programmes that will help the youths in the country to become wealth.
President William Ruto, in a church service on Sunday August 13, announced more ambitious plans to help the youth achieve their lifetime dreams.
Dr. Ruto promised to go to any depth to make sure every young man and woman in this country improve their lives after school.
“I am ready to pay any price to have a plan on how to create opportunities for the young people of Kenya,” President Ruto said.
The head of State speaking in a church service at the Faith Evangelistic Ministries FEM in Karen Nairobi, stated further that his Housing plan will be among the main projects that will see unemployed youths benefit first.
“Many people were wondering ‘Why are you pushing this housing agenda? Who told you we need a house? We all have houses what is this?’ It wasn’t so much about the houses it was so much about the jobs for the young people of Kenya,” Ruto added.
He adduced to make sure his government exhaust all mechanisms possible to save lives of many youths currently being misused by a section of political players to destabilize the economy through bribes, anddrug abuse.
“We have never had a comprehensive programme, deliberate, intentional to create opportunities for the young people of Kenya to have income.
“I am happy that this time round we not only have a plan [but]we have clear interventions, money to do it and create jobs in the housing plan in the digital space, exporting labour,” added Dr. Ruto.
The head of State also affirmed his unwavering commitment to foster the education sector by making sure every child, urban or rural, gains access to school life, affordably.
he promised to prioritize youths empowerment so that to fight joblessness and helplssness during his five year long leadership.
