Project –Newly-sworn in Kisii County Governor Simba Arati has been shocked by the President’s new gesture.
The second governor of Kisii County, who is also the immediate former member of parliament for Dagoretti North Constituency, during the weekend, he hosted Ruto in his backyard.
The Governor would later reveal intriguing details of his encounter with the head of State with whom they have never read on the same script.
He revealed how, for the first time since elections, they met with the president for a meeting with the Kenya-United Kingdom Health Alliance to discuss a sh 500B project set to be launched at Kisii University to build a state-of-the-art hospital that will be the largest in East Africa.
The governor said when he was struggling to make a point to the President, he(Ruto) kept on telling him “Simba hakuna haja ya kuelezea zaidi ya hapo. Hiyo tumemaliza”.
This good response left Governor Arati divided over his earlier stance on the person of the President. All along, he never believed that Ruto could respond so well to him since he has been in the opposition for the longest time ever.
Arati believes in Raila Odinga’s political ideologies and has been running on Orange Democratic ODM ticket all through.
