Cabinet Dissolved –President William Ruto has dissolved his entire Cabinet fowling public uproar.
Ruto has today Thursday Julyh 11 sacked his entire Ministers so that to bring fresh ones on board.
Among those who were send packing are Interiors Cs Kithure Kindiki, Roads and Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen among others.
Leaders both from the opposition and government have lauded the head of State for taking the bold move so that to regain public trust.
“Sacking all the Cabinet Secretaries is a solid start,” Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuan commended the president.
Kieleleshwa Member of County Assembly MCA Robert Alai also said Ruto’s teaming up with Hon. Raila Odinga will give this country a new look.
“Cabinet dissolved after Baba’s advice. Government can’t bow to unstructured pressure. That’s a cause for anarchy and national instability,” he wrote.
Following President William Ruto’s sweeping dismissal of Cabinet Secretaries, according to the Kenyan Constitution, he must now nominate new candidates for the vacant positions. These nominations will be subject to approval by the National Assembly after undergoing a vetting exercise by the Parliamentary committees.
