Appointment –Vocal Lawyer Nelson Havi has landed a job in a government office.
The ex-Law Society of Kenya LSK President was made that Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Retirement Benefits Authority RBA in a Notice by Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Njuguna Ndung’u.
In the notice dated Friday February 10, the lawyer who unsuccessfully ran for Westlands parliamentary seat, was allowed to take office with immediate effect.
He will be succeeding Abdirahin Abdi who has been relieved of his duties at the lucrative board.

He will now be at the helm of the board for a period of three years starting today when the appointment letter was issued.
In another similar appointment, William Ruto’s ally from Kisumu, Jack Ranguma(former Kisumu Governor), was offered the chairperson of the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority. He will also be running the position for three years.
This appointment was confirmed by the Cooperative Cabinet Secretary CS Simon Chelugui.
