Internet -Nairobi-based Blogger has today blocked politician-turned businessman Mike Mbuvi Sonko citing infringement of his content.
Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi today Monday revealed that Sonko had developed a culture of gleaning articles, photos and images from his popular social media handles and disguising this as his own.
Today Monday April 29 afternoon, Nyakundi said he had finally made a decision to block Sonko so that to slow his behavior of stealing his content from Twitter.
“I had to block Sonko. Stealing everything from me,” wrote Nyakundi.
Sonko is a former Kenyan politician who has turned into blogging and he likes sharing hard news with his supporters on X platform and Facebook.
Mike Sonko is yet to comment on the claims made by Mr. Nyakundi who sources his news videos, images from followers around the country.
He has built his brand name for decades and currently has over 750 X followers and close to 400k fans on Facebook. On the other hand, Sonko boasts of over 2.7 million followers on Twitter alone having been a national politician for ten years.
Mr. Sonko describes himself as a politician, businessman and philanthropist.
