Meta company services were all down worldwide, affecting Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
In a short statement from the Mark Zuckerberg-led tech organisation, the problem which had taken longer to solve was being attended to by his developers and users were asked to remain patient until the hitch is sorted out.
“We’re aware of some issues accessing WhatsApp. We’re actively working on a solution and starting to see a return to normal for most people. We expect things to be back to normal shortly,” read a statement from meta.
