From Readers -A couple from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is now living from alternative means instead of waiting to be employed.
Kennedy Okoth and Anne Wairimu – 2016 graduates – who met in campus and fell in love with each other are today making more or less sh 90,000 every moths from their roadside business.
After giving up with looking for white collar jobs despite both having Business Development Degrees, the duo decided to start small by selling roadside food in Huruma Nairobi. Anne started selling chicken parts while her husband ventured in making chapatti what today makes them sh 3,000 every day. This amount cumulatively for a full months equates to sh 90,000.
Through their continued power of love and determination, they have remained steadfast in earning a living from what they are doing and are not about to give up.
From their own account, before their graduation, Anne got pregnant and gave birth to a lovely baby girl Wangui Okoth who is now 4 years now.
