Business -A Primary school teacher – Mena Esi – is making money from her side hustle she decided to launch after going through a painful long financial crisis.
Through her online platform, the teacher revealed that she had to start a Youtube channel where she has been selling vintages as a way of diversification and which has been doing so well.
According to Tuko.co.ke, she had to come up with an idea as teachers’ salaries are nothing to write home about; and the only way was to try another less demanding investment.
The publication also reported that another business opportunity cropped up in her mind; she started to market stuff for shop owners in her area. She would do this on her channel for commissions.
Therefore to make good money, she would take pictures of shop items especially fabric, post them online, and get clients who would buy them.
She revealed that she would increase the price of the fabrics posted on her channel by a little amount which gave her profits. This is how she started making money. Her channel also became huge and popular.
In a good month, today, Esi can make a whopping sh 163,000 and since starting the hustle, she has been busy just like any other corporate lady.
