Business -As the economy struggles to pick up broken pieces after the Covid-19 pandemic, every person is on toes to recover too.
Though many young men believe in white collar job in offices fully fitted with free Wifi, the possibility to make quick and real money on the streets is even bigger if someone told them about this.
Below are just a few of the jobs that look awkward from outside but feed well many people in Kenya and Africa as a continent.
Become a shopkeeper – Shop keeping is one of the few jobs that anyone could start with little capital and grow steadily to become a big merchant store.
Shopkeepers earn good money making profits that no one asks them if they are charging the correct prices or not. Most dedicated shopkeepers are driving and living well with their families.
You can also become a hawker by simply talking to a wholesaler in your area who you may strike a working rapport with so that he can start giving you a small stock every morning, sell and bring him his/her money as you remain with the profits. This is a common practice in many towns.
For example, if a wholesaler gave you a pen at sh 5 you may end up selling the same product at sh 15 and keep the surplus cash. Very lucrative and from there you may find yourself growing steadily and very fast.
Another profit-guaranteed business is Mutumba selling. Mutumba are second hand clothes which come in bales. A single bale, we have done research, could fetch double amount after selling.
Moreover, try to start selling smokies, sausages and snacks. Target drinking joints and you will be surprised by how much you can make in a single day. Remember that drunk persons eat impulsively. Drunk persons could order anything they didn’t intend to just to show off their pocket muscles.
Many of them also will leave you with un-imagined tips especially if you become friends.
