Resignation –United States of American U.S.A President Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.
Biden, in a seven-para statement to the people of America, today Sunday July 21, expressed his happiness to have been given an opportunity to serve the nation for a term saying, together, they had achieved a lot.
Listing a number of his achievements in office at the White House, the U.S commmavder-in-chief said, it has come that time to quit the race against Donald Trump so that he can focus on completion of his agenda for the American people and the world.
He agreed that, the democrats can now have an opportunity to deliberate what next for the party that has produced presidents not once.
Joe Biden further promised to divulge more details next week when he will hold a public address speech for the country.
“It has been the greatest honour of my life to serve you as your president. And as it ha been my intentions to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term,” partly read the statement.
Biden asked those who have been working tirelessly to see him reelected not to give us but to continue working for the Dems ahead of the next candidate for the democrats.
Word has had it that Mr. Barrack Obama, the former head of State, had already indicated to the president that his chances of reclaiming the White House were narrowing by day and that it was proper if he passed the baton to someone else so that to save his face.
Biden Woes escalated weeks ago when he failed to meet expectations while debating against his close competitor, Donald Trump.
His fellow democrats led by Barrack Obama observed that he under-performed during the debate what, anytime this happens, chances of winning the American presidential race are always said to have diminished.
