National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has confirmed signing out a whopping 4.5B for the renovation of the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi.
Speaking on Citizen Tv show hosted by Jeff Koinange on Wednesday night, Mr. Mbadi refuted claims that the Bomas had been sold to a Turkish.
“I saw the former deputy president claim that the Bomas had been sold out. But two days ago I signed and released a Ksh 4.5 billion for the development. How do you now claim its sold to a Turkish?” he responded.
The CS added that he doesn’t know if the contractor comes from Turkey but the facility is still Kenyan and urged politicians to be honest with their supporters.
