Appointed –Education Cabinet Secretary CS Ezekiel Machogu has today appointed Secretary-General of the Kenya National Union of Teachers KNUT Collins Oyuu to a government position.
Mr. Oyuu, will from today also serve in the Kenya National Qualifications Authority KNQA as a member.
His appointment having been announced through a Gazette Notice dated Friday October 20 and he will be serving alongside four other individuals.
Their term will be running from the Gazette Notice date to the end of a period of three years as it is required by law.
The Notice also listed Michael Kuria, Commission for University Education Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jacqueline Mugo, Federation of Kenya Employers CEO, and Kipkirui Lang’at, TVET Director General.
They are tasked with enhancement of the quality of National examination standards in the country ahead of the 2023 final exams.
