Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has been pronnounced dead.
A family source leaked the news to a section of the media today Friday morning.
Chebukati has been unwell for a longer time and last week his doctors announced to the family that he was clinically dead.
Chebukati had overseen two controversial election in the history of Kenya.
