Stories -Naomi Cheronno is an interesting character determined to beat all odds to become something in life.
When she completed her secondary level education in Njoro, Naomi didn’t actually know she will be a security guard until this came to happen and she had to accept and live with it.
As fellow age mates were enrolling at Campus level for their post secondary studies, she was at the school gate to receive them as a guard. She worked at the Nakuru based Egerton college for a period of six years despite having scored a B+ in KCSE but lacked money for college.
But determined to graduate with a Degree, she enrolled in classes which she attended anytime she was free and managed to graduate with a Degree.
According to her previous interview, she used to work as a guard during the day then in the evening attend classes.
She thanked the Egerton University management which understood her schedule and today she is a proud owner of a Degree just like her colleagues.
