Financial Support –Part of the local music industry players have pulled together a whopping sh 1 million for their fellow artist, Colonel Mustafa born Daudi Mustafa.
Led by Charles Njagur Kanyi, today they met in Nairobi where they announced having already collected over sh 1 million for the former Ogopa DJs star.
In a media briefing held today May 11 afternoon in Nairobi, Jaguar, revealed that a group of persons from the entertainment circles among them Authur K and event organizer Big Ted have already collected more than one million shillings which they will hand over next week to the former Ogopa Djs rapper and his ailing mother.
“Mustafa is my friend but, interestingly, he had said nothing to me about his situation. I also saw this stuff on social media just like the rest of you before I rung a person close to him for confirmation.
“Together with Arthur Kay and Big Ted, we have raised more than one million. We will check on his mother at home and monitor the family until everything is fine,” Jaguar promised.
The former Starehe Member of Parliament MP also revealed that former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has already offered Mustafa a job.
Speaking at the same venue today, Mustafa said he will prioritise opening two bank accounts – his and another for his ailing mother so that he doesn’t get anything wrong, again.
By Tuesday this week, Mustafa had already received sh 1million and with another million, the singer could be laughing all the way to bank.
His plight captured the attention of the country when a video emerged showing him busy at a construction site in Donholm.
