Employment –Once a company hires services of an employee, the expectations are always that it will, in return, get value for its money.
A company that makes a vacancy advert does so to find the most suitable and competitive candidate or candidates out of a pool of applicants or applications.
On the other hand, those who apply for jobs expect that they win the interview starting with the short listing to their appointment stage. This is usually an anxious moment because no one knows the fate unless a few with perhaps connections.
Now when the management decides to offer one an appointment letter, it does so to get profits in return. This is the level at which it wants your salary to go hand in hand with the output; in fact, your production should be higher compared to what you are paid.
So, what does one has to do to meet these expectations from their employers? The answer is simple. Create a win-win mentality by giving your time, commitment and respect to the company.
Employee Rules
Every company or every employer has a list or a set of rules for their employees. That is your first score to win the trust of your bosses. Show up in time, if possible, earlier, do desk assignments you are given to do, if possible, an add extra work, deliver and finally leave the rest to the company and God.
Also, it’s good to remember that showing respect to both your seniors and juniors is a universal ethical requirement in any organisation. It makes you remain admirable and, in return, the employer will definitely see the need to retain you for long.
Being sacked from work
The above factors, if well implemented by employees, there is no way the company management could decide to sack or replace anybody.
Profits or no profits, just play your part and the company will treat you well. Simply, stay away from employer’s trouble by doing your work as per your job description (JD), add respect, and the organization you work for will never terminate or suspend you.
Lastly, remember that your work is your life.
