Career –Renowned radio presenter Alex Mwakideu has resigned from Milele FM.
Today Monday August 14, the veteran broadcaster left the station after his service of five years which he described as enjoyable but time to move out had finally come.
He made this news through his official social media platforms and thanked everyone who was part of his successful journey.
“I say thank you to you listeners because without you there cannot be radio. You are the reason that we have a radio,” he profoundly remarked.
The morning radio presenter seized the opportunity to thank his colleagues – both current and past – at the station saying it was a pleasure working together.
“Thank you. We did it. Page closed. Onto the next one,” he signed off.
Though he did not reveal where he was headed next, the journalist sought guesswork from his followers whom he asked to guess his next stop.
Mwakideu has been in the media industry for over 23; having secured his first job at Baraka FM, Mombasa in 2000 where he worked for a decade before coming to Nairobi to join Radio Maisha for eight years.
