Fraud –A man in Nairobi was on Tuesday January 30 evening arrested with sh 1.5M loot at a city restaurant.
Mr. Mark Kipruto Kuto, on being arrested, claimed he was acting for an unnamed Principal Secretary and that the cash was to help the complainant secure CEO post at South Nyanza Sugar Company.
The said suspect is being held at Integrity House, to be arraigned.
The arrest taking place at the time the executive has accused Judiciary of rampant corruption and interfering with government projects.
This far saw the three key arms of governmnet – the executive host Parliament Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and Chief Justice Martha Koome for talks which centered on wiping away corruption.
