Success -Mr. Sam Wakiaga is a wealthy figure from Luo Nyanza who owns so many businesses that rake in a lot of income.
He is a common name in Luo and mentioning Nyanza without his name is like mentioning bees without honey. In fact, he is among the few billionaires that Kenya is blessed with. According to Forbes, this man is estimated to be worth over 99 billion.
Research has it that Wakiaga is the man who founded the Sam Wakiaga Youth Polytechnic based in Homa Bay County. He built it with his own money all in the name of giving back to the society.
Further reports have it that he owns several ships that operate around the vast Lake Victoria and that this business he has run for years.
His professional background stretches back then when he was a worker at the National Security Intelligence Services NSIS. He started as an accountant before rising through the ranks to become the Deputy Director of NSIS. He would later retire.
Upto now, he has also managed to do a lot of investments in real estate and he is said to be owning a number of high end flats in Kisumu City and the rest of the Nyanza Region. He also has homes and houses in other parts of the country including Mombasa and Nairobi.
Most of his time he spends with big names in politics like Raila Odinga, William Ruto and area MPs.
