Economy– Outspoken Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayuba Savukla wants President William Ruto to move Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi to the Treasury docket.
Addressing media in Kakamega town today Monday March 20,the DG observed that the country was now headed to a total economic shutdown due to poor financial management at the helm of the Treasury.
He compared Kenya and Tanzania and wondered when Tanzania has become better than Kenya.
“Appoint Musalia as CS Treasury for him to stabilize the economy, otherwise Kenya is heading in the wrong direction,” Savula told the media.
According to the vocal DG, Counties were now running dry; what could soon bring operations and activities to a sudden stop.
He defended his Musalia proposal saying the Chief Cabinet Secretary has a history of stabilizing the country a good cases study being when the country was facing Goldenberg scandal.
