YouTube –Today Monday February 13, YouTube banned NTV channel that had over 2.1 million subscribers over violation of standards.
Attempts to access the YouTube channel on the afternoon of Monday February 13 could not bear fruits as the channel returned only blanks.
The blank page was accompanied by a red strike strip indicating that the account was no longer accessible.
“This account has been terminated for violating YouTube’s Community Services,” the red strip as on Friday February 13 read.
And according to usual YouTube channel guidelines and standards, this kind of termination only comes when the owner violates certain policies.
“When a channel violates the guidelines three times within 90 days, then they are liable for termination. This means that the account is deleted from the platform permanently,” a socila media guru explained.
This termination is subject to an appeal and, therefore, NTV could lodge an appeal so that the suspension can be reviewed and their account reinstated if possible.
There are many ways the aggrieved party can seek redress among them is proving that the video is not a copyright of anybody else and, secondly, striking an amicable solution with the owner to withdraw the claim.
