Philanthropy -The fourth most generous philanthropist with a whopping $2 billion in giveaway to charity work this week is MacKenzie Scott.
She made the donation announcement this week; what brought her total lifetime donations to approximately $14 billion.
Forbes reported that the sum puts her above Bloomberg’s founder Michael Bloomberg who currently stands at $12.7 billion.
A recent research by AFP showed little discrepancies in her giving rate but still put her over $13 billion of donations.
Reached for a comment on the giving topic, Bloomberg’s philanthropist was not available to provide his updated account.
Nevertheless, Warren Buffet tops Forbes’ list of the world’s biggest philanthropist, having this year 2022, given away over $46 billion.
He is closely followed by Bill and Melinda Gates with $33.4 billion and George Soros with $18.1 billion.
Online sources describe MacKenzie Scott as an American novelist and philanthropist with a networth of $33.4 billion, owing to a 4% stake in Amazon.
She is the third-wealthiest woman in the United States of America USA and the 35th-wealthiest individual in the world.
