News –To quickly check your voter registration details, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has provided two ways one can do this.
Today the IEBC made an announcement that voters do not need to physically visit IEBC offices to confirm their details, instead they can do this through two primary ways – online and SMS.
One can decide to send an SMS with his/her passport or ID number to 70000. This SMS will be charged sh 10 and therefore you need to have the money in your phone.
All mobile service providers – Telkom, Safaricom and Airtel – have been activated to make this exercise a success.
The second option can be through visiting IEBC voters’ portal which can be accessed through HERE.
Independent election body IEBC is an authority tasked with the management and running of the elections affairs in the country. It also does boundaries delimitation.
