Scoop -Coca Cola Africa Company is on the spot after a model went on social media to expose their ‘unbusiness’ conduct.
Ms Shakke, on May 9, took to her Twitter handle to blast the multibillion beverage company for overusing her image even after their contract had expired.
“Surely Coca Cola for how long are you going to user my pictures without pay. Over 10 years this picture is still all over – across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda,” she stated in the post.
It is not clear when she had a commercial advert with the company but from her rant, it is apparent that there engagement had already expired.
Shakke alleged that her image is still being used on commercial billboards now 10 years beyond the period they agreed upon.
She got the advertisement deal through an agency and their contract stated that the image should be used for a period of not more than two years.
