Scoop –To access Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE results 2021, parents, guardians and learners can do so through a simple SMS.
In a circular from the Ministry of Education, results can be accessed through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices and the respective schools by visiting the headmaster’s office.
Those opting for the SMS option, should send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.
All the results systems started being accessible at the end of the official release of the results by the Ministry of Education led by Prof George Magoha.
On the other hand, the SMS platform was available for all mobile networks and is being charged at sh 25 per SMS.
To successfully get the results, students should avoid having spacing between the index number and the initials KCPE.
High number of traffic on the website could, however, cause some delays but this should not be the reason for panic.
In the online platform, the candidates should access the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal and head to the KCPE tab then select the year they sat the national exams.
It is advised that the student should also enter their Index number; and that immediately after pressing the submit button, the results should show on the screen.
