Lifestyle –Classic Radio Presenter Maina Kageni has shocked the country after he confessed that he spends not less than sh 10,000 every day.
While commenting on a viral story where two ladies in their 20s were arrested and charged in court after failing to pay a bill of sh 147,000 in one of the high-end entertainment joints in Nairobi, the talented presenter appeared to be leaning towards the side of the ladies whom he said didn’t drink alone.
He argued that the said ladies were in the company of some rogue men who decided to abandon them at the hour of need
“I am an expert in fine dining. They did not drink that money alone. It is the men who ran away.
“Women, are these the kind of men you are going to marry?
“If you take a woman out, man up. There is a place I go and the price of 3 samosas is 2K. I budget for 10K a day,” Maina claimed.
He linked such bad manners to Kikuyu men whom he described as stingy; meaning hard to spend on women on dates.
“Those might be Kikuyu men, they are usually so stingy. Mimi if I call you for lunch/dinner I am paying.
“You cannot call me for lunch and start dictating what I will eat or drink,” he added.
Maina Kageni is among the few top earning media personalities in the country and flies out to Europe or US every months to spend with friends.
