A good communicator must be able to be understood and must also be willing to receive feedback.
Anytime there is communication, the sender must understand that receivers will take action with whatever is said. They will also act after decoding the message. What this therefore means is encoding process must be done in a manner that allows the receiver to decode/dissect what is said. Decoding is simply interpreting. This should not lead to any breakdown.
In Business Communication, students are taught how to communicate well so that information can reach the receiver clearly for an appropriate action. By definition, communication is a process of understanding and sharing meaning.
