Employment -Getting employed is cool and everyone out there wants to be employed in am office and be paid a good salary.
Well, this mentality has been rampant among the youths whose only belief is to get employed either in an NGO, government office or any other establishment like Google, Microsoft Inc, YouTube, Facebook companies etc. It is not bad but what if this fails to work? The competition is tight and chances that you could be picked from the rest are quite slim.
So, therefore, what happens in that regard? The solution is easy. Create your own job. With or without any capital, be sure that there is something you can do for yourself. You can come up with an idea that doesn’t require money. An idea that only requires contacts and a smartphone.
I know you are now asking yourself which idea is this? Well, the idea is about making a call to any shop or store near you or in town, tell the owner or the supervisor that you have clients you want to direct to their shop. Don’t ask for a job. Demonstrate you have a job already and you are not a desperate jobseeker even if you are one.
Tell them that you have been getting customers out there who are asking for whatever the items being sold in that shop. This could be books, cutlery, phones, computers or any other accessories. Tell the owner that you have clients. Trust me, he or she will agree instantly and allow you to bring the customers for a commission.
After that verbal agreement, work on getting your first client. Take him or her there and, if she buys, well and good; if she doesn’t, again not bad. It’s an impression you have scored. Go on and on and before the shop owner knows it, you will be working there on freelance basis.
Ways to create a job are many but this one here remains the most working.
