Job Success -A beautiful lady from Kericho County by the name Jael Kipng’eno, 27, while sharing her life with a top podcast in the country, moved many hearts with her detailed true-life career testimony.
She told the host that her life was miserable despite bagging a first class honors Human Resource at Moi University.
She noted that finding a befitting job that equals her education background was not easy and that the only job she could be offered was to be a messenger in a tea firm back home where she was being paid sh 10,000 per month.
“Since finishing my course at Moi University Eldoret, I have been working for a tea firm where I am paid a paltry sh 10,000. I have two daughters who I take care of with that amount,” she revealed.
By good luck, this bad life changed three months ago after she was introduced to an eRecruitmnet platform Pesatoday.com where fresh jobs are listed every day 24 hours.
“A concerned friend showed me the website and asked me to browse through the pages. He assured me that I will get my exact job. I thought it is a lie but, guess what happened, I found a vacant position that I have been looking all this time, applied and waited for few days,” she stated.
Interestingly, after just two weeks, she was called with an interview offer in Nairobi which she won and she is now working in their Gigiri office.
