The business mogul from Nigeria has a net worth of $ 11 billion as of the year 2021 and he is ranked 183 worldwide.
Mr. Dangote is the founder and currently the chairman of Dangote Cement Manufacturing Limited which is the largest cement producer in Africa, and also the owner of salt and sugar manufacturing companies.
According to Wikipedia, the billionaire was born on April 10, 1957 in Kano State in Nigeria and comes from a wealthy Muslim family of Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Sanusi Dantata, the daughter of Sanusi Dantata. He is the great-grandson of Alhassan Dantata, the richest West African at the time of his death in 1955.
Billionaire Dangote graduated from the Government College, Birnin Kudu in 1978 where he received a bachelor’s Degree in business studies and administration from Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
Currently, Dangote lives in Lagos, Nigeria. He has been married and divorced twice and has three daughters named Mariya, Halima, Fatimah with one adopted son Abdulrahman Fasasi.
